PromoterHost sincerely wants you a quality, free, "quality" hosting account, but you need to email the admin first and explain why you want the hosting - in legible, well formed "English". If your request is reasonable and satisfactory, you will be provided with a free hosting account.

The free hosting is only for "genuine websites". ie: The account comes with a database, so you can install a forum or some other script that might require a database. It is not for any other use. If you use it for "storage", "file serving", a "mirror", for downloads, etc -- it WILL be deleted.

You should only upload 1). Web pages 2). Images for the web pages 3). Install any software you want such as a forum. That's it! Think of PromoterHost as a super Geocities account without the restrictions, or ads.

The only exception to downloads is if you have legitimate download, like maybe attachments on a forum, or maybe you're selling something and afterwards people need to download information. That's not to say you can't offer "any" downloads (for practical reasons), but to register for an account, and simply use it as a download "source" for some other website or group of websites is strictly not allowed.

If you just do the right thing, this hosting will be extremely "high quality" -- and every effort is being made to keep it that way.
