Violence against women is completely normal, according to a Moroccan TV show. All you have to do is learn how to apply the right makeup, and you can live a great life, full of bruises from beatings. No one will know the difference.
Violence Against Women – How to “CONCEAL” IT!
So if your guy gets upset one day and decides to slap you around for a while, don’t worry about it. It’s all good. Violence against women is just a part of life, according to Moroccan TV. All you have to do is put on some makeup. If you need the right technique, just grab an ice pack for your beaten face and spend an afternoon snuggled up on the couch and watch some tutorials on TV to learn how to hide the bruises.
This brings a whole new definition to the word “concealer”. No longer do you use concealer JUST for those unsightly pimples, freckles and scars. No — you can also use it to conceal lacerations, bruises and fist imprints.
Does this sound ridiculous? Well, welcome to Morocco. Violence against women is a serious problem. It should never be accepted. Nor should violence against me, for that matter. It’s not just women getting beaten, but women beat men too — often! Men are, on average, larger than women, so it’s usually the heart that is broken more than any physical marks or injuries, but people should learn to love one another and violence of ANY form needs to be eradicated form this planet. No one should be beating ANYONE!
..and there should NOT be TV shows, anywhere in the world, nonchalantly providing tutorials on how to conceal bruises with makeup. I can only take a guess at the psychology here. It would seem that their justification is: “Well, the women are getting beaten, so we might as well to show them how to cover the marks”. Um, yeah.. NO! You don’t make a tutorial on how to cover up fist marks. That’s WRONG! If you’re serious about combating the problem, then you go for the source: You advocate a ZERO TOLERANCE for violence. A zero tolerance for violence against women.
Period. The end.
